E03 means drain fault. The machine could not empty the water within the expected time — water is left in the drum.

- Unplug. Open the filter flap at the bottom-front and lay towels down.
- Unscrew the filter cap slowly and clear fluff, coins and hair clips.
- Check the drain hose for kinks and the standpipe for blockage.
- Run a Drain/Spin programme and listen for the pump.
